CLIENT: Sprezyna programme for refugee students
Sprezyna is a Warsaw based programme that helps refugee students prepare for Polish A levels and help them settle in Poland. The project is created and sustained by Anna Machocka Polish as a foreign language specialist, single mother of 2 and the strongest most positive person you will meet.
Focusing on the positive power and the growth ability of the programme I created a visual identity that harbours and celebrates those elements. The logo plays on the meaning of the name ('spring' in Polish) and the iconic building of Bednarska High School where the programme initiated. Through the programme participants have a chance to jump start on the spring and become pillars of our community.
Website designed using Adobe XD. Responsive, clear layout design. The programme was missing a website which would help advertise the programme itself but also help gather donation so essential to the existance of any charity programme.
Ever thought high school was hard? Stressed about your final exams? Now imagine you need to add to all of that not knowing the language, often being alone in the country, having to work to sustain yourself, taking care of younger siblings, having a hard journey already behind you having fled war.
They are extremely strong, resilient, positive people that want to learn. But Polish language is one of the hardest on the planet and our educational system does not make it any easier to accommodate foreign students. Thats where Sprezyna steps in. Organised private and group lectures, city tours, guest lectures - all organised by one person. Now you can help them by donating to the programme in general or sponsoring one student with a monthly contribution of your choice.
